Stillhouse Hollow Falls, 13 miles from Country Livin RV Park

It is less than a twenty-minute drive to this 75ft waterfall from Country Livin RV Park. The natural area is on the Western Highland Rim in the Duck River watershed. The geology of this region creates scenic natural features such as seeps, flat shale-bottom streams, and waterfalls, both small and large, which help shape the region’s dissected topography.

The natural area is named for its most significant feature, the remains of an old stillhouse with chimney still standing along Stillhouse Hollow Falls trail.  On the 2/3 of a mile trail you will traverse the hollow on well established trails & come to small scenic cascades finally plunging approximately 75 feet over the falls. The trail leads into the deep hollow that is formed below the falls in a rich habitat supporting colorful flowers & delicious scents most of the year.

For the sure-footed, you can climb behind the waterfall for an unusual experience & fantastic view
